API Services, Inc. Develops Hiring Process for Fire Chief Vacancy in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
Green Bay, WI -- January 4, 2007 -- In October 2006, API Services, Inc. was retained by the Beaver Dam, Wisconsin Police & Fire Commission to develop and implement a selection process for their Fire Chief vacancy. Initially, a job and needs analysis was done for the position. The selection process methodologies were chosen and a timetable and budget were established. API relieved the Commission members of 125 hours to pursue other duties and city priorities by developing and overseeing the hiring process, from the screening to the hire.
The new Fire Chief was hired in January 2007, a unanimous choice of the Police and Fire Commission. The Commission members expressed their complete satisfaction on the selection of an exceptionally qualified individual. According to Nancy Conley, President of the Police and Fire Commission, "API did an exceptional job.....we could not have done this without API."
