Dennis Nelson, President and Founder

Mr. Nelson received a B.A. in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and founded API in 1975. Under his guidance, API has grown into one of the most comprehensive loss management and investigative service groups in the Midwest. Mr. Nelson has extensive experience investigating individuals and organizations on behalf of his clients. He has also been involved in major developmental programs of eliminating theft within the workplace.

Linda M Beversdorf, CPA, Chief Financial Officer

Ms Beversdorf is a licensed CPA with over 20 years of accounting and management experience.  She has over 10 years experience working with Tribal government in various capacities, including most recently as the Director of Internal Audit.  During her tenure as Internal Audit Director she worked with the Tribal Gaming operation in analytical and re-organization functions.  Linda has a demonstrated track record of leading in the preparation and analysis of financial reports to summarize and forecast financial position.  Proven expertise in driving efficiency and productivity through evaluation of management systems and counsel for process improvements.  Linda earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Craig Warrick, Director of Sales & Marketing

Mr. Warrick received a BA and BS degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and a Masters Degree from University of Wisconsin - Superior. After a 30 year career as an educator and administrator of public schools, Mr. Warrick joined API's staff as a consultant for public affairs in 1999. He has been Director of Sales and Marketing and works in all areas of business development. An experienced investigator, Mr. Warrick works primarily for clients in the public sector. Mr. Warrick also heads the training and development effort at API delivering high powered training seminars to a wide variety of clients and coordinating all the educational offerings of the staff at API.

Debra Chase, Director of Business Development

Ms. Chase served nine years in various capacities for the Ho-Chunk Nation located in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. During that time she developed expertise in the areas of Tribal Government, including Tribal and vendor compliance licensing related issues, developing human resource management and training programs, administering the Tribal Elections, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of Tribal Enrollment issues. Ms. Chase served as Compliance Director for the Ho-Chunk Nation, she developed the internal compliance policies and procedures, directed all investigations and enforced all aspects of individual and vendor licensing rules and regulations, which included the Ho-Chunk Nation's drug testing program. Employed by WMS Gaming Inc.  Ms. Chase gained insight into vendor licensing at the corporate level. Her responsibilities included technical compliance in the areas of software research and development, and vendor licensing.

Andrew Hofstetter, Director of Regulatory Products and Services

Mr. Hofstetter is an enrolled tribal member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, located in Central Oregon. He has been in the field of Indian Gaming since 1994. Mr. Hofstetter has served in various capacities to learn the different aspects of gaming, including operations and regulatory. The positions he has held include Security, Cage Operations, Slot Floor Operations, Surveillance, Compliance, Gaming Commissioner, and Chairman. Mr. Hofstetter has worked for his Tribe; Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Barona Band of Mission Indians, and Rincon Luiseno Band of Mission Indians, among others. Through his years of experience he has developed a Fraudulent ID seminar program. Mr. Hofstetter has been involved or exposed to negotiations, casino expansions, and development of new technologies, marketing techniques, various scams, investigations, and fraudulent documents.
